Doug Tennyson, 69, a 39-year resident of Crofton, MD died Thursday, June 7, 2012 of a massive heart attack and pulmonary arrest. He was born September 17, 1942 to the late Franklin and Margaret Tennyson. Despite loosing his hearing at the age of 4, he went onto excel in college and became very successful. He graduated from Galludet University in 1967 where he met his wife Charlene. They would have been married for 46 years on June the 16th. They have two children, Andy and Michelle and four grandsons (Tyler, Cody, Nolan Short & Wyatt Tennyson). He is also survived by siblings Patricia Smith, Richard Tennyson and Michael Tennyson and numerous nieces and nephews. Doug retired after 42 years working for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Washington, DC. He received numerous achievement awards from OCC. His hobbies were computers, movies, reading and his family. He was one of a kind husband, father, brother, uncle, PawPaw, and friend. We are all so blessed to have had him in our lives! We miss you Dad.
