Dale Shavez Lloyd Jr. was born in Palmdale, California on February 7th, 1998 to Camille LaTasha Thomas and Dale Shavez Lloyd Sr. At an early age Dale was diagnosed with asthma. Dale's passion for living life was never hindered because of his asthma. Dale was a student at Hammond Middle School. Dale was a big brother/mentor to 6th grade student Tai'Jon Williams who also had asthma. He was to graduate from the 8th grade and into high school this year but instead he graduated into the gates of heaven. Dale had a love for sports and played softball as a young child. He loved to play video games with his friends and family. He also enjoyed board games, signing, playing the drums, riding bikes, watching movies, playing with Tec Decks and Beyblades and listening to music. He recently attended a family retreat for men in which he learned to ride horses, fish and cook outdoors. Dale was adventurous and loved to learn new things. Dale had a heart for God and loved to sing for the Lord. Dale was very outgoing and loved people. He always had a smile and a hug for everyone. On May 30th, 2012 Dale suffered a severe asthma attack that resulted in further medical complications. Dale departed this life and stepped into glory in the presence of the Almighty God. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Great Grandmother, Idella Henson, Maternal Great Grandfather, James Williams, Paternal Grandmother, Opal Lloyd, Paternal Great Grandmother, Mildred Davis and Paternal Great Grandfather, Earl Thomas and Aunt, Karmanek Gordon-Kaiga. Dale is survived by his mother Camille Thomas, his father Dale Lloyd, his stepfather, Rodney Thomas, his sister, Jasmine Johnson, his brother Kyle Thomas, his Great Grandmother Maudry Gordon and his Grandparents, William and Della Gordon and Larry and Betty Thomas. Dale also leaves behind a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
