Anne Marie Clements 41, a 16 year resident of Herald Harbor in Crownsville died April 15th at the Washington Hospital Center in DC from complications of rheumatoid arthritis and heart disease. Born on September 27, 1970 in St. Louis Park, MN to Andrew and Marguerite Borgman of Crofton, MD. Anne attended elementary school in Sioux Falls, SD and middle school in Downers Grove, IL. Her family moved to Crofton in 1985 and she graduated from Arundel High School in 1989. Anne attended and graduated from York College of PA in 1993 with a BA degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. She was a founding member of Sigma Delta Tau Sorority at York College. In 1993 she married TSgt. Mathew "Duke" Clements of Gambrills, MD on May 22. They relocated to Abilene, TX where TSgt. Clements was stationed at Dyess AFB. They returned to Crofton in 1994 and Anne taught in the elementary school program at Severn Covenant School in Severn. Later she and her husband founded Christian Community Fellowship Church and School. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her husband, of 19 years Mathew; their six children, Andrew 12, Elijah 10, Daniel 8, Micah 5, Naomi 3, and Gabriel 1; her parents Andrew and Marguerite Borgman of Crofton; her sister Kathryn Mansell of Jacksonville, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Anne was an accomplished home school teacher. She enjoyed all forms of needle art and was an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed smocking and embroidery and was a member of SAGA embroidery in Crofton. She also worked producing contract embroidery work for East Coast Martial Arts in Annapolis. The family will have a gathering of family and friends at 10:00 am on Saturday April 21st at Severn Covenant Church, 20 Gambrills Road, Severn, MD 21144. A celebration of Anne's life will follow at 11:00am.
