David Cordell Cich

David Cordell Cich (Age 71) David Cordell Cich, Sr., of Bowie, MD died suddenly on Saturday, December 24. A native of Toronto, OH, he came to the Washington, DC area to attend Catholic University, where he received a bachelor's degree in 1963. He worked as a provider of database services to non-profit organizations, retiring from Saturn Corporation of Cheverly, MD in 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Josephine and a sister, Angela Caranna. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Judith Jones Cich, his two children, David (Cory) Cich, Jr., of Bowie, MD and Joanna (Steven) Thursby of Sumter, SC, two grandchildren, Edward and Isolde Thursby, two brothers, Stanley and Denis, and a sister, Rebecca (Thomas) Johnston. The family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, from 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Ascension Catholic Church, 12700 Lanham Severn Road, Bowie, on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11am. Interment private.
