Linda B. McCrary

Linda McCrary was the loving wife of Vernon Eugene McCrary for 16 years and was a loving mother to Rebecca Lynn McCrary (age 34), Suzanne Marie Mendez (age 33), and Alison Leigh McCrary (age 30). In addition, she was a cherished grandmother to her sole granddaughter, Leana Marie Mendez (age 9). During her career, she was an Office Manager but her favorite job was being a Mother and a Grandmother. She showed us unconditional love and was an amazing role model. Even though she is greatly missed, we will never forget her and her legacy will live on through her family and friends. Below is a poem dedicated to Linda B. McCrary: My mother kept a garden. A garden of the heart; She planted all the good things, That gave my life it's start. She turned me to the sunshine, And encouraged me to dream; Fostering and nurturing The seeds of self-esteem. And when the winds and rain came, She protected me enough; But not too much, she knew I'd need To stand up strong and tough. Her constant good example, Always taught me right from wrong; Markers for my pathway To last my whole life lone. I am my mother's garden, I am her legacy. And I hope today she feels the love, That she instilled in me.
