Joanna Bascietto

Joanna Bascietto, 89 of Brooklyn, NY died Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Bowie, Md. after a brief illness. Jean was born March 31, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY to Frank and Betty Alcamo. She met her husband of 64 years at the Roseland in NYC. She was wife to Joseph J. Bascietto. Mother to John (Laura) Bascietto of Maryland and Carol (James) Ryan of New York. Grandmother to Brooke, Stephen, Matthew & John. She has 1 surviving sister, Josephine of So. Carolina, sisters-in-law Marie of Brooklyn, NY, Rose of Hallendale, Fl and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, West Palm Beach, Fl for 26 years. She will always be remembered for her welcoming smile and generous heart.
