Mary Anne Cannon March 22,1957 - May 19th 2011 Mary Anne Cannon, beloved Daughter of Salvatore and Enis Bente, Educator, Sister, Aunt and great friend, passed on May 19th to a much better life. We all mourn the death of this passionate, warm, caring, beautiful, delicate woman. She has touched our lives forever. Mary Anne Cannon is Missy to her family. She smiled at us behind thoughtful, sparkling eyes. Her life was long enough to see her achieve post graduate credentials, reside and work abroad and enjoy a lifestyle that was free and easy yet focused. She was blessed with an open heart and mind that let her have friends forever. She was always ready to laugh or cry, listen and counsel. Her life was her own and she made certain everyone knew it. To us, her family, she was home for the holidays and a voice on the phone. She loved deeply, but maintained her distance for fear of getting to close. She was as we all are, imperfectly perfect. She lost her fight against Depression but we all know she gave it her best as we hope we did. We will miss her all the days of our lives and wish forever we could see her again for an embrace or a word. We love you Missy, Mary Anne, and hope you are happy, we unfortunately cannot be. A Memorial Mass will held on Wednesday, June 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Rd., Bowie Maryland.
