Mary A. Catalano

Mary Anne Catalano, 90, died at her most recent home in Bowie, MD on May 7,2011 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born in Alexandria, VA in 1921. She was married to Augustine (Gus/Teenie) Catalano for 55 years until his passing in 2002. Mary was a "stay-at-home" mom and a wonderful mother all her life to her five children. She was a great cook and loved to entertain her friends and family, especially in her younger years. Mary played a mean game of bridge and liked her poker. She was a striking beauty and always wanted to look her best. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Tina Clagett and husband Craig, Joe Catalano and wife Mary, John Catalano and wife Pat, Phil Catalano and wife Angie and Steve Catalano and wife Terry; 16 grandchildren and their spouses, Mike Clagett and wife Tina, Laura Jones and husband Dave, and Joe Clagett and wife Genevieve; Danny Catalano and wife Melissa, Tina Quintana and husband Tony, and Sarah Benjamin and husband Steven; Kimberly Hoyle, Sherri Catalano and husband Ed Hafer, Claire Catalano and Lisa Catalano; Vincent Catalano and wife Patty, Holly Dahir and husband Mark and Nick Catalano; Katie Catalano, Stevie Catalano and Kevin Catalano. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, Joshua and Hannah Clagett, Kelsey and Cody Jones, Garrett Clagett and Mackenzie Risher; Anthony, Jacob and Lilly Catalano, Delilah Anne Quintana and Megan Hoyle. She was loved deeply and will be missed by her family and many friends, but she is now at peace with her loving husband. We will love you Always Mom!!!
