Kasmir W. Witkiewicz

On Sunday, March 27, 2011, a 35-year resident of Crofton, MD. Husband of the late Helen Witkiewicz; father of the late Stephanie Witkiewicz; brother of the late Lottie Lewandowski and Joseph Witkiewicz. He is survived by his nephew, Bill Lewandowski of Severna Park, MD and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and a Mechanical Engineer with a Master's degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology. In his early years, he was employed by Curtis Wright of New Jersey. After moving to Maryland, he worked 35 years for NASA. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Crofton, MD and the Knights of Columbus-Sacred Heart Council in Bowie, MD. An avid golfer, he was a member of Crofton Country Club. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 4:00-7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1800 Seton Dr., Crofton, MD 21114 on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:00am. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
