Betty M. Lorditch

Betty M.Lorditch, of Gambrills, Md., formerly of Johnstown, passed away Feb. 28, 2011. Member of Sacred Heart Church in Bowie, MD and formerly a member of Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Johnstown, PA. Beloved wife of the late James T. Lorditch Sr. Loving mother of James T. Lorditch Jr., and wife, Mary K., Chalfont, Pa.; Paul T. Lorditch, and wife, Valerie A., Bowie, Md.; Gregory J. Lorditch, and wife, Susan I., Chalfont, Pa.; Judith R. D'Ambra, and husband, David, Gambrills, Md., with whom Betty resided; and Roberta M. Oberhaus, and husband, Thomas, Liberty Center, Ohio. Dear sister of Rita Clark and Rosemary Bischof, both of Johnstown, and the late Stephen and Herbert Bischof, Janet Clennon and Bertha M. Mayer. Devoted grandmother of Matthew, David and Christopher Lorditch; Paul, Stephen, Juliann, Maria, Alexandria and John Lorditch; Jessica Jennings, and husband, Timothy; Thomas, Daniel, James and Kimberly Lorditch; Eric, Timothy, Katherine Ann, Anna, Stephen, Emily and Phillip D'Ambra; and Benjamin, Emily, James, Matthew and Hannah Oberhaus; and was expecting her first great-grandson on March 28. The family will receive friends from noon until time of Mass of Christian Burial celebration at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Md. Entombment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Johnstown, at a later date.
