Kristen Elaine Ridgely

Kristen Elaine Ridgely of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Tuesday, February 15th 2011, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. She is the beloved daughter of Barbara A. Ridgely and the late George W. Ridgely, niece of Judith Lee Harvey of Dickinson, Texas and Becky Ann Koenig of Texas, sister of Valerie J. Ridgely, sister-in-law to Paul B. Schlosburg of Laurel, MD and sister to Amy L. Ridgely, aunt to Brian S. Ridgely of Laurel, Md and Lauren N. Kinzer of Colorado Springs, CO, and beloved great aunt (Beebo)to Ethan A. Kinzer and Adelina N. Kinzer of Colorado Springs, CO, and mother to Chloe (Little Momma) her beloved cat. Living and working within the Washington area for most of her life, she recently moved to the Baltimore area. Kristen had developed many close and great friendships among her neighbors and their friends within the short time she lived there, appreciating that they always took time out to help her when needed. Kristen enjoyed watching many sports. A few teams that she followed were the Washington Capitals through highs and lows, the Dallas Cowboys in her early years, the Baltimore Ravens and recently becoming a huge Nascar racing fan. She relished the challenges she received on the job with Verizon Business and developed close and cherished friendships within the Verizon family. Family will receive friends at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Sunday February 20th 2011 from 1-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one of her three favorite charity's or a charity of your choice in her memory.
