Jenna Leigh Erickson

On February 5, 2011 Jenna Leigh Erickson of Crofton, Maryland passed away suddenly in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado where she had been living the last year. She is the beloved daughter of Jed and June Erickson, Granddaughter of Lorraine Erickson of LaCrosse, WI and sister of Heidi and Spencer Prieur-Scott, and Auntie Jen to Rhiannan Scott of Brooklyn, NY as well as many family and friends everywhere. In Bowie she attended Grace Baptist School, Holy Trinity Episcopal Day School, and graduated from Archbishop Spalding High School. She went on to major in Japanese Literature and Writing at the University of Maryland and the University of Tennessee. Family will receive friends at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Friday, February 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 12 at Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1800 Seton Drive, Crofton. A private memorial will be held at Fish Creek Falls in Steamboat at a later date. Donations in Jenna's memory can be made to an organization Jenna worked with called Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports (STARS) which provides recreational opportunities for people with disabilities resulting in empowering and enriching the quality of life for its participants.
