Mary C. Lancaster

MARY CATHERINE LANCASTER On January 23, 2011, at age 68, in Baltimore, MD. Born in Washington, DC on November 21, 1942, she grew up in Seat Pleasant, MD. A graduate of Frostburg State University and a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority, she taught in the Prince George's County Public Schools (MD) from 1965 through 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria C. Lancaster of Forest Hill, MD and her son, Carl D. Lancaster, III, his wife, Sybyl and their two children, Tyler and Brianna of Waldorf, MD, her mother, Catherine A. Vann of Reedville, VA and her brother, Michael F. Vann, Jr. of Bluffton, SC. She is predeceased by her father, Michael F. Vann and by her sister, Margaret M. Vann. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11am. Interment, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
