Nancy C. O'Neill

Nancy O'Neill, a pianist and organist in Bowie, MD passed away on October 28th due to a stroke. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John O'Neill, a brother, Harold Clough Jr. and his family, her eldest son John and his wife Ellen, her son Douglas and his wife Valerie, her daughter Elizabeth ("Beth") Day and her husband Daniel, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She worked for many years as an organist at churches throughout the area including most recently at Ascension Church in Old Bowie, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Crofton, at St. Pius X Church and Sacred Heart Church in Bowie, and as a voice student accompanist and private piano teacher. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by many. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Monday, November 1, 2010 at Ascension Catholic Church with interment at Maryland Veterans Cemetery-Crownsville.
