Rita Ann Bacon

Rita Ann Bacon, 57, passed on October 5, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore. She was born in Amsterdam, N.Y. and was a 25 year resident of Bowie, Md. Previously of Gloversville, New York. She graduated in 1970 from Gloversville High School, and in 1983 graduated from Fulton-Montgomery Community College. In 1985 she graduated from Suny of Utica. Rita loved ballroom dancing, and was an animal rescue volunteer. She is survived by her sister, Lori Strait, and her husband, Jeff of Gloversville N.Y. and brothers, Patrick and his wife Lorraine, John and his wife Rebecca, and William and his wife Donna Bacon, all of Gloversville, N.Y. Nephews Mark Bacon, Jason Strait, and John Bacon. Nieces Elizabeth and Rita Marie Strait, Jennifer Wojeski and her husband, Chris. Lyndsey Gates and her husband, Bill, and Anne Bacon.
