On Friday, October 1, 2010, of Ellicott City, MD and formerly of Lanham, MD. Beloved wife of the late Edward "Ted" Ekers; devoted mother of Edward Ekers and his wife Lisa, Cynthia Flynn, Christine Pierre and her husband Michael and Elena Stargel and her husband Scott; dear sister of Dorothy Hathaway. Also survived by 9 loving grandchildren and many loving great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 3:00pm until service time, 4:30pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 8950 to benefit President's Special Project, 9800 Good Luck Rd., Lanham, MD 20706.
