Charles A. Jones (Chuck) was a 48-year resident of Bowie, Maryland. He was originally of Red Wing, Minnesota. Chuck was a U.S. Army veteran and held a Masters Degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Minnesota. He retired from the U.S. Government after 33 years of service. While with the U.S. Government he worked for the U.S. Navy, NASA, the Library of Congress and he retired from the Department of Health and Human Services where he was a Program Manager for Head Start. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty L. Jones; one son, Steven C. Jones and a daughter, Nancy J. Boyle. Four grandchildren: Erin C. Jones and Katlyn M. Jones; and Matthew Boyle and Kristen Boyle. There are two surviving sisters: Linda Hase and Lisa Weberg. He was preceded in death by his mother Florence Jones, and by his father, Lloyd Jones. There are two late brothers; Larry Jones and David Sibley.
