Ralph David Miner, Sr. (R.D.) Formerly of Bowie, Maryland passed peacefully on September 14, 2010. He was born on November 2, 1933 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania to Ralph and Leola Miner. R.D. grew up in Western Pennsylvania and enjoyed hunting and fishing. It was there that he met his future wife, Wilma Jean Cullen; they were married in June, 1954. Prior to a 1977 accident which left him totally disabled, R.D. was a sheet metal worker. One of the companies he worked for installed the heating and air conditioning duct work and units in the original Levitt homes in Bowie. He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Miner Hoppe (John) and Patricia Marie Holmes (Kevin) and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Donna Miner and a brother, F. Kerwin Miner (Denise) of Mill Run, Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean; his son David and twin daughters, Roberta and Marlene; his parents and one sister, Marlene Hiltabidel.
