Harry Raymond Bryant III

Harry Raymond Bryant III, son of Harry Raymond Bryant Jr. and Margaret Kepler Bryant, was born on March 29th, 1940 and passed away peacefully on the afternoon of July 5th, 2010. He leaves two sons Adam David Bryant (42), and Alexander James Bryant (41). Harry, known as Ray during his childhood, grew up in the Washington D.C. area with an older sister Phylis Collins (deceased) and a younger brother William Bryant. After attending the University of Chicago, he transferred to and graduated from St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland, completing his degree in 1963. It was there he met his first wife, Donna Parmelee, whom he married in December of 1963. Their eldest son Adam, was born in September of 1967 in New York City, and their second son Alex, was born in New Jersey, in June of 1969. Harry and his family eventually moved back to the D.C. area in the 1970s, primary living in the town of Crofton, Maryland. It was there that Harry met his second wife Margot, marrying her in 1979. They spent the entirety of their marriage residing in the Crofton area, where together they raised a family of five kids: Adam, Alex and Margot's three children from her previous marriage, Tracey, Carla and Charles (Cap). Their marriage ended in 1996. An early advocate of computer technology, Mr. Bryant worked for many years as a computer analyst, until his retirement from the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. in the mid 1990s. After his retirement, Harry moved into the District of Columbia itself, living their until the year 2000 when ill health forced him to relocate to Massachusetts, spending most of the last ten years of his life living in the town of Westminster, MA.
