Roland W. Pardoe

Roland Wilford Pardoe On Friday, July 2, 2010. Born on September 22, 1921, in Island Creek, Calvert County, MD, moved to Severna Park from 1978 to 2004, and passed away in Crofton Convalescent Center. Roland graduated from Calvert High School. After graduation, he attended the Rising Sun School of Aeronautics, and served in WWII in Scotland and Germany as an airplane mechanic. Roland then worked for Pan Am, which later became TWA. He started Rol Park Trailer Park in 1956, which continues today with 82 mobile homes, located on Veteran's Highway in Millersville, MD. Loving son of the late Lawrence Wilford Pardoe and Anna Himmer Pardoe; dear brother to Lawrence Pardoe Jr. of Pasadena and Catherine Pardoe Trueman of Solomon's Island; also survived by a host of loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 5-7pm, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00pm. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11am at Waters Memorial Methodist Church Cemetery, St. Leonard, MD.
