Isaac Reyes, Jr.

Isaac Reyes Jr., 73, a 43 year resident of Bowie, went home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2010. He suffered complications from open heart surgery. He is survived by his devoted wife Anita of 51 years, 6 children: Brian-Nashville,TN; Steven-Landisburg,PA; Beth Stephens-Sterling,VA; Michael-Mt Airy,MD; David-Silver Spring,MD; Joel-Bowie,MD,15 grandchildren, Brian, Sarah Ruth, Rebekah, Joshua, Roy, Sarah, Elizabeth, Amanda, Michael, Robert, Gary, Maria, Isaac, James and Lydia; and two sisters: Elizabeth Longobardi-Poughkeepsie,NY; Miriam Zavodnick Reyes-Tenafly,NJ. He was a founding member of the Bowie Alliance Church and in recent years attended Mount Oak Methodist Church. He enjoyed singing with Sons of Severn Barbershop Chorus and Lower Lights Gospel Quartet. Arrangements were made by Beall Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service and burial was held at Mount Oak Methodist Church.
