Richard Ryde Tracy, Sr.

Richard R. Tracy, Sr. "Dick" Passed away at his home in Mitchellville, MD on Sunday, April 25, 2010. Richard leaves behind his beloved wife Kathleen, one son and daughter-in law, Rick & Malissa Tracy, his mother-in-law, Charlotte Albert, three step-sons - Joe Hammen & wife Cathy, Jason Hammen & wife Amy, Steve Morley & wife Nicki, eight-grandchildren - Lyndsay, Geoffrey, Kayla, Blaze, Shane, Tiffany, Isabella & Bubby (Jason Jr.), and one great grandson, Aiden. He leaves four sisters & their spouses - Lynn & Ralph Nelson, Pam & Tommy Dolan, Carol & Jay Smith, Sue & Dan VanVleet, one sister-in-law - Sondra Waite, one brother & sister-in-law - Steve & Linda Tracy, four brothers-in-law, Ray Albert, Robert Albert, Edward Albert & Paul Albert, and one sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Marge & Jack Leek. Richard's youngest brother, Jim Tracy, preceded him in death. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Richard loved his family dearly and so enjoyed family get-togethers. He enjoyed being a grandfather most of all. Always smiling, always giving, whatever you needed, he did his best to give it to you. He was a devoted and loving husband, a wonderful father and step-father, a caring brother, and a good friend to many. He will be dearly missed.
