William Stanley Reiber

August 1, 1963 — February 26, 2010

William "Bill" Stanley Reiber, 46, was a 21-year resident of Crofton, MD. He recently became VP at Bryant Berry, Inc. in Greenbelt, MD. Formerly he was Chief Estimator for Chesapeake Electrical Systems. Bill was born August 1, 1963 in Westchester County, NY. He grew up in Portchester, NY and Indian Rocks Beach, FL. He graduated from Clearwater Central Catholic High School in 1981 and Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC in 1985. Bill is survived by his college sweetheart, Brenda, whom he married on February 28, 1987, his daughter, Allison (21), and sons Will (19) and Tommy (15), his mother, June Shaughnessy Bastian of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, and sisters DJ Reiber of Tampa and Diane Chisholm of Palm Harbor, FL. His favorite activities were spending time with his family, fishing, eating good food, watching sports and making everyone laugh. He loved visiting New York City, especially with Allison, the only person who wasn't scared of his Manhattan driving. He rarely missed the boys' soccer games, no matter how early or how far or how long it took driving in circles to find the field and the best parking space. His loving family has heard every second of the Class AAA FHSAA 1981 State Soccer Championship one thousand times and loved every minute of it. He enjoyed watching the New York Giants win and the Washington Redskins lose. He was a die hard NY Yankees fan and enjoyed attending Orioles games in his Jeter jersey. He bragged about the Wofford Terriers whenever he could, and was a huge Syracuse Orange basketball fan - what a season! GO ORANGE.
