Nancy E. Wisyanski

Nancy Jean Wisyanski December 2, 1934 to February 20, 2010 Nancy Jean Wisyanski, 75, of Gambrills, Md., formerly of Walnut Creek, Calif. and Natchez, Miss., died Saturday, February 20, 2010, in Annapolis, Md. after an illness of more than a year. She was born December 2, 1934 in San Francisco, Calif. and had lived in Gambrills for over two years. Mrs. Wisyanski was the loving and devoted wife of the late David A. Wisyanski (Colonel, USA Ret.), to whom she was happily married 53 years, and the wonderful mother of Lori Barroga of Bowie, Md., Don Wisyanski of Roanoke, Tx., Tony Wisyanski of Naples, Fl., the late Cindy Douberly, and had six grandchildren. In addition to her lifelong career as the consummate Army wife and cherished "helpmate extraordinaire" to her husband, Mrs. Wisyanski spent many years as a talented and sought after interior decorator, was passionate about gardening, and loved spending time with her family. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 3 in Beall Funeral Home, Bowie, Md. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Mar. 4 in Our Lady of the Fields, Millersville, Md. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 31 in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
