Sophie Gray

On Tuesday, April 7, 2009; Sophie Gray, 96, a 10 year resident of Annapolis, MD and formerly a 40 year resident of Landover Hills, MD passed at Annapolitan Assisted Living in Annapolis, MD She was born on March 31, 1913 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Kathleen Pusz. She was an active member of St. Marys Church in Landover Hills, MD for over 40 years and taught at St. Marys School. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, reading and spending time with her family.She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Gray, who she married in 1943.; She is survived by her son Bob Gray of Annapolis, MD and his wife Carol; 3 brothers; 7 sisters; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and was predeceased by her son, Thomas.Family will receive friends at the family owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Thursday, April 9, 2009 from 6:00-9:00pm, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2009 at 10:00am. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
