Kathleen H. Boykin 'Majella'

A great-grandson, Sean Joseph Dickinson.Kathleen Majella Boykin, 68, a 38 year resident of Bowie, MD and previously of Manchester, England passed on Wednesday May 27, 2009 at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, MD. She was born on July 17, 1940 in Athy, Ireland and was educated in Salford, England. Majella was a Homemaker and a Cosmetologist, enjoyed gardening and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Bowie, MD. She is survived by her husband, John Boykin, who she married in July of 1962;Children John Michael Boykin of Bowie, MD and Mary Kathleen Spirlet of Bowie, MD;A brother Michael Howard of Salford, England; sisters Jocelyn Frier and Ethna Burgess both of Salford, England;Grandchildren Jennifer Boykin, John G. Spirlet and Thomas M. Spirlet all of Bowie, MDA Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00am.
