Dixie C. Bowie died peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2009; of Upper Marlboro, MD; Beloved wife of John M. Bowie; loving mother of Georgia B. Rowe (Ben), John C. Bowie, Ronald B. Bowie (Connie), Victoria B. Barkley (the late Ted) and the late Robert D. Bowie; dear sister of the late Betty J. Jones; grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the family owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 south), Bowie, MD on Friday, June 5, 2009 from 6:00-9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 14908 Main St., Upper Marlboro, MD on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 11:00am. Interment St. Barnabas Cemetery.
