Dianne N. Parlow

On June 8, 2009, Dianne Cynthia Neild Parlow of Bowie, MD died of ovarian cancer. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Boyle) Neild of Broad Brook, CT. She leaves her spouse of 46 years, Richard, three children, Paige (Alex) Forrest and Graham (Leslie) Parlow of Richmond Virginia, and Brook (Nicole) Parlow of Rico Colorado, her five grandchildren " Will and Hayden Forrest, Carter and Rob Parlow and River Parlow, as well as a sister, Constance (Charles) Osterlund, two brothers, Ralph (Joan) and Bruce (Mary) Neild and a sister-in-law, Joyce Albright. Dianne was raised in Broad Brook, CT and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and earned her masters degree in elementary education from Boston University. After a successful teaching career, she returned to school to earn her law degree from the University of Baltimore. She loved being a tourist and following her retirement from the Veterans Administration, she and her husband continued their travels of the world. She loved her family, friends and community and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at Christian Community Presbyterian Church, 3120 Belair Drive, Bowie, MD June 19th at 11am. Internment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
