Jeannette Plowman Greenip, age 88, of Annapolis, MD passed on Sunday, June 14, 2009, of natural causes. She was born in Washington, D.C.Jeannette was an active church member, and for many years worked as a church secretary while in New Jersey. More recently she sang in the choir and served on the altar guild at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Crownsville, MD. She was also a member of the Heritage Harbour Chorus in Annapolis. She served Meals on Wheels in Anne Arundel County and in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and participated in Gilbert and Sullivan Elder Hostels. She was predeceased by her husband, John Francis Greenip and her siblings, Edwin Plowman and Virginia Ponder.Survivors include her children Carol J. Davis of Warrenton, VA, John F. Greenip of Houston, TX, Gary L. Greenip of Crofton, MD, and Edith A. Greenip of Crofton, MD; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Family will receive friends at the family owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD, on Thursday, June 18, 2009, from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service.
