Barbara E. Kessler

After a long illness, Barbara Enright Kessler went quietly into the arms of the Lord on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 77 years of age. Born June 24, 1932 in New York City where she graduated from Walton High School in 1950. She was a secretary in NYC until marrying Harry F. Kessler in 1955. She raised her four children, Harry (Buddy) Cathy, Michael and Jeanne in Bowie. She is survived by her husband of 54 years and her four children and eight grandchildren. Barbara bravely faced her many health issues with the support of her devoted husband and family. Family and friends rejoice that she is now filled with the joy and peace of God. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at BEALL FUNERAL HOME. 6512 N.W. Crain Hwy, (Rt 3) South Bowie, MD from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Rd (Rt. 450) Bowie MD. Interment to follow at a later date at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crofton Leisure Inc. of the Crofton Care and Rehabilitation Center, 21312 Davidsonville Road, Crofton, MD 21114.
