Grace E. Bargas

On Saturday, July 4, 2009; born May 8th, 1929 in Shelby Nebraska and attended a one-room school. She later graduated from Kramer High School on May 23rd 1946. In 1949, she married her husband of 60 years, Jose Bargas. For the next 21 years, they traveled the world with the Air Force, eventually settling in Maryland in 1962. Grace was the daughter of Hans and Myrtle Johansen. She is survived by her husband Jose Bargas, her two sister's, Shirley Hartley and Betty Simonsma, her six children: Mike, Jane, Linde, Mark, James, Scott; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Grace was an avid bowler and enjoyed collecting dolls, but above all she was a loving wife, a caring mother and a proud grandparent. A visitation will be held at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Highway (Rt. 3 South), Bowie MD from 3 to 5 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
