Nancy K. Dowell

Nancy Kelley Dowell, devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and most importantly friend to so many people was tragically killed in an automobile accident on July 19, 2009. She lived a short but very busy 48 years of life working tirelessly on behalf of her family and friends, as well as working for the Anne Arundel County Public Schools system in the Home and Hospital Teaching program.Nancy was born on February 25, 1961. She went to High School at Largo Senior High and graduated with the class of 1979, and later attended the University of Maryland and Prince Georges Community College before graduating from Bowie State University with a degree in Sociology. Nancy was continuing her education in graduate school at the same university.Besides her husband Barry, she was devoted to her children Owen and Allison as well as to her parents Hubert and Eunice Kelley ad her brother David and his family.A memorial service will be held in Nancy's honor on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 1pm at BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Highway (Rt. 3 South), Bowie, MD 20715.
