On Tuesday, July 28, 2009, Anne S. Klontz of Bowie, MD passed away peacefully at home. Loving wife of Donald D. Klontz; devoted and loving mother of Emily and Matthew Klontz; daughter of Jean R. Spitzer, of Belle Mead, NJ, and friend to many people.Anne was born June 9, 1951 in Plainfield, NJ. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1969 and attended Ryder University and UCLA. Anne met and married Don in Arizona; they lived in southern California, the United Kingdom, after which they returned to southern California with their UK-born children, before moving to Bowie, MD in 1994. Anne and Don have lived all over the world.Living the life of a very active Catholic, Anne was a Level-2 Catechist, served as a CCD Teacher, taught Vacation Bible Study, and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Anne was an active member of Our Lady of the Rosary, Peter C. Boyle Council, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and Past President of Sacred Heart Councils Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered at K of C Bingo events and many other fundraising events. She also worked full-time as the Office Manager at SK Motors which led to her being named the 2007 Recipient of the Presidents Award for the Catholic Business Network of Prince Georges County. She also worked as a Substitute Teacher in the PG County School System and served as an Election Judge.Family will receive friends at the family owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy., Bowie, MD on Sunday, August 2, 2009 from 6:30-8:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church, 12700 Lanham Severn Rd., Bowie, MD on Monday, August 3, 2009 at 11:00am.
