Colleen Margaret Messer, 52, of Suitland, MD died July 29, 2009 of caner at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood, MDShe was born June 25, 1957 in New Zealand to Robert William Angus Apes and Sybil Heather Apes.She married in 1986 and moved to the United States and settled in Maryland. She worked in the banking industry and was last employed by Regional Title Corporation in Washington, D.C.She was preceded in death by one sister, Valmai Tipoki and by her fiance, Robert Ammann.She is survived by her daughter, Cassandra Messer of Davidsonville, MD and her family in New Zealand: her mother, Sybil Heather Clark; her sister, Jan; and her brother, John. Family will receive friends at the family owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy.
