Alda L. Keene

Alda L. Keene, 92, a 50 year resident of Arden on the Severn, died peacefully at home on August 2, 2009. Alda was born May 23, 1917 in Washington, D.C. On February 19, 1932, she married James B. Keene, who later died on September 18, 1995. An original owner of Jims Air Compressor, Inc. in Hyattsville, MD, she was a member of Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church in Millersville, MD. She is survived by her son, George Keene and his wife Ruth of Bowie, MD; granddaughters Karen Winters and her husband Jim of Gambrills, MD, Shirley Pena of Crofton, MD, Laurie Musser and her husband David of Crownsville, MD and Cindy Vinson and her husband Tom of Virginia Beach, VA; 10 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the family owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 6:00-8:00pm and on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 1:00pm until service time, 2:00pm.
