Beulah E. Lovett

Beulah Elizabeth Lovett ~ She Launched " Beulah was born January 4, 1930 to the late Bessie Turner Leach in Raleigh, North Carolina. The family moved to Philadelphia, PA when she was a child where she would complete her education. She also completed cosmetology school in the 1960s. Beulah accepted Christ as an adult and became a member of Triedstone Baptist Church in Columbus, OH. She Labored " Although Beulah held cosmetology license, most of her employment was in the hotel industry. She also worked along side her husband in the culinary business. She Loved " In 1972 Beulah met and married the late Julius B. Lovett. Although together they had one daughter Yvette, through this union she was also blessed with three other children: Jackie, Francera and Daryl. She Landed - On Friday, August 21, 2009 Beulah landed in the arms of Her Savior. She has joined her mother and step-father, Bessie and John Taylor, two sisters Pearline and Marjorie and husband Julius who all preceded her in death. She Leaves " Beulah leaves to cherish her memory one son; Daryl Lovett (Pam) of Richmond, VA, three daughters: Jackie Houston of Columbus, OH, Francera Johnson of Baltimore, MD and Yvette Twiggs (Jeffrey) of Bowie, MD, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, special family friends -The Daltons, Joe Sharpe and many, many more. A visitation will be held at New Samaritan Baptist Church, 1100 Florida Ave. NE, Washington, D.C. 20002 on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 10:00am until service time, 11:00am.
