Robert E. Rice, Jr.

On Wednesday, September 16, 2009 due to complications of Parkinsons disease; of Beltsville, MD. Mr. Rice retired as an executive from the U.S. Postal Service with 35 years of dedicated service and was an Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean War. Beloved husband of Gladys Johnson Rice; devoted father of Robert Emmert Rice, III, Rory Rice and his wife Terry, Robin Miller and her husband Raymond and Roxie Welch and her husband Jeff; dear brother of James Rice, Barbara Moore and Dorothy Bradtmueller; loving grandfather of Alisa, Amanda, Gunnar, Laura, Kara, Austin and Stephen. Family will receive friends at the family owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 5:00-7:00pm, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 9:30am.
