Nicola Nick? Angelo Cipriano, 86, born on January 26, 1923, on his familys farm in Greenbelt, Maryland, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, surrounded by his loving family.Nick was a decorated WWII veteran who served with the 104th Infantry, 26th Yankee? Division in the European Theater. He was a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge and was most proud of his Bronze Star and Combat Infantryman badge. He became a master plumber in 1952 and founded his own plumbing company, Nick Cipriano Plumbing, where he worked until the age of 71. Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppe Joe? and Carmella Cipriano, of Greenbelt, Maryland; his five siblings; and his wife, Simone Blanger Cipriano, of Qubec, Canada, who passed away in 1978 at the age of 44. He is survived by their eight children: Joseph Ral Cipriano, Jacqueline Cipriano, Joanne Cipriano-Contento, Bernard Cipriano, Christine Figliozzi, Brian Cipriano, Charline Cipriano de Best and Connie Cipriano, as well as seven grandchildren. He is also survived by Diana Twomey, his eldest child. The family invites friends to BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy.
