Adell Hall

July 11, 1945 — March 31, 2022

Adell T. Hall, age 76, loving mother of two, grandmother of six, and great grandmother of three, was called home to be with the lord in the early morning hours of the 31st of March.  Adell was born on July 11, 1945 in Decatur, Georgia to Joe and Hattie Tate, and moved to Compton, California when she was 8 years old.  She grew up surrounded by her 6 brothers and sisters, Joe Tate Jr, Charles Tate, Larry Tate, Terry Tate, Johnnie Tate, Carolyn Tate, and Stanley Tate.  She graduated from Centennial High School in 1963 and completed some college and Compton Community, before starting her career and later retiring from Pacific Bell (AT&T) in 2000.  Adell had two children, Jon Hall 1965 (preceded her in death 2015) and TaShauna Hall 1971 from her union with Jon Gary Hall.

She later moved to Rialto, California in 1984, where she became an active member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and participated in the Mary Magdalene Mission Circle.  While retired she enjoyed fellowship with her friends, helping out at her best friend’s bakery, Mommie Helens Bakery, and loved baby sitting her great-grandchildren and spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by her family.  Adell is survived by her daughter, Tashauna Hall, six grandchildren, Maritsa (Beau) Bailey, Tatiana Ruiz, Natalie Ruiz, Jada Ruiz, Gabrielle Ruiz, Leeyah Ruiz, and three great-grandchildren, Blaise Bailey, Bodhi Bailey, and Baby Bailey (on the way).

“We need you; but God needed you more.”
