AGNES M. CHERI, born in Annapolis, Maryland, died on February 1, 2021 at age 86 of natural causes at home. She was known to many as Agnes, Aggie, Mom, Nanny, and Grandmom. She loved being around her family and friends and staying in touch with as many as she could. She loved playing Bingo every Tuesday Night and socializing with her many friends. She loved spending time with her friends at their Bowie Senior Group. She also enjoyed going to the casinos and playing cards. Her favorite vacation place was Las Vegas. She also loved going to Bowling on Thursdays and socializing with many of her friends throughout the bowling alley. Early on, she and her husband Sam had a produce stand for years at the Florida Avenue market. Mom and Sam were inseparable from day one. It was true love for both and enjoyed every moment of their lives together. She enjoyed life and was always easy-going and would help anyone. She did not know it, but she left everlasting impressions on everyone she met. She was a fun loving and caring person to all she knew. She is loved by so many friends and family and will be missed more than words can express. Heaven now has a very Special Angel. Rest in Peace Mom!

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank (Sam), father Horace Norwood, mother Mollie Norwood, and brother Albert Norwood. She is survived by her sister Joan Bristow; 6 Children, Joan Jones (Tommy), Betty Emelio, Frances Montgomery, Dewey Sutphin (Sheila), Deborah Stoutsenberger (Bill), and Beverly Sabol; 7 Grandchildren, Donny, J.D., Angela, Christina (T), Billy Jr., Brian, Ariel; 8 Great Grandchildren, Cody, Samantha, Toni Marie, Adeline, August, Graham, Jude, & Nora; and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, Amelia & Ricky. Also, she is survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
