Alfred Thomas Ose, Jr. was born in Highland, New York 87 years ago and was married to Victoria Sulitka Ose. Both are longtime residents of Bowie, MD. Sadly, Alfred suffered from and ultimately succumbed to Parkinson’s disease.
Alfred was the second of eight children; siblings include Lorraine, Joseph, Robert, George, William, Carolyn and Elizabeth. A veteran of the United States Air Force (USAF; 4 years active, 4 years reserve), Alfred was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant. Alfred parachuted as part of the USAF AISS (Air Intelligence Service Squadron). Also, while with the USAF, Alfred tested and was admitted to the USAF language immersion (linguistics) program for Mandarin (Chinese), which began with attending Yale University and finishing with classwork and graduating from Georgetown University.
After being honorably discharged from the USAF, Alfred married Victoria and helped raise 5 children Alfred III, Michael, Jennifer, Timothy and Gregory. As a father and for the remainder of his career, Alfred worked in the commercial carrier industry for 46 years.
Grandfather to Jennifer, Allison, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Zachary and Joshua. Many charitable activities but just to name a few - SOME soup kitchen, service in the church, volunteered many hours at Labor Day Festivals and welcomed home our active military returning from overseas at BWI Airport and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Memorial donations may be made in the name of Alfred to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014
