Alice Salama Abdel Maseeh

Alice Salama Abdel Maseeh of Silver Spring MD, went to her heavenly home on June 6, 2020.  Alice was born in the Sudan, of mixed Coptic and Greek descent.  She is survived by her husband Rifaat Zakhari and 2 daughters Iman Sami and Samia Zakhari.  Alice and Rifaat were married for 62 happy years.  They were a devoted couple and have 4 grandchildren Minas, Marcus and Marianne Benyamin, and Ramez Abadir

Alice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother (fondly called “Yaya”) who was always there for her family and friends, and ready to help at all times. 

Alice had strong convictions on everything in life, from religion to politics and was never afraid to speak her mind.  Paramount to her life was her strong faith in the Lord. 

Her daughters and grandchildren will cherish the memories of love, support, wisdom and encouragement over the years.  Alice will be truly missed but never forgotten.  Her family would like to share their memories of love and joy in the photo album.  Please join the family in celebrating her life.
