Andreas Pitsos, 80

On Thursday March 28, 2019, Andreas Pitsos, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at age 80.  Mr. Pitsos was born in Greece in 1938 and spent his childhood in the village of Skiada.  As a young man, he wanted to venture out and see the world.  During this time, he met and married the love of his life, traveled to Germany and ultimately the United States seeking better opportunities.

Overcoming many barriers, he was able to provide a comfortable life for his family.  While working in the food industry, he absorbed the necessary knowledge to become a business owner.  His hard work and determination allowed him to achieve his goal.

Andreas loved hunting, traveling to Greece, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He could spend countless hours watching hunting videos and Westerns especially ones with actor John Wayne.  A comical story-teller, often of his restless youth, he was bound to surprise you.

In his late years, Andreas led a quiet life surrounded by loved ones. His grandchildren were a source of joy that lifted his spirit and always brought a smile on his face.  Having family and friends in Greece and the United States allowed him to travel to both countries creating precious memories along the way.

He is survived by his wife Georgia, daughters Maria, Irene, Joanna, son Yanni and 5 grandchildren Dora, Dina, Nia, Andreas and Yanni.  His friends and family, including sisters, brothers, and many other relatives, will continue to cherish his memory.
