Angela A. Gibson

Early Life

Angela A. Gibson was born on May 12th, 1966 in Madrid Spain. She was the 8th child of Bill Floyd and Espanola Floyd. Her brothers and sisters are Mahir Safullah, Elizabeth Floyd Motter, Regina Rivas, Eva Moore, Ava Floyd, Mary Floyd, Greg Floyd and La Tonya Floyd. Her childhood was surrounded by a tight knit family household where it was all hands on deck! They were taught to carry themselves as Kings and Queens, that everything should be done 100% all the way! 

Education and Work

Angela went to college for 3 years in economics. Instead of pursuing other studies she teamed up with her her family to work towards a hair salon brand called “Catch The Waves”. Through hair school she was able to obtain her license in hair care and beauty. For over 30 years Angela not only enjoyed taking care of her clients hair, but she also used it as a ministry to evangelize and bring people closer to the Lord. 

Marriage and Children 

In 1997 Angela met Kevin Gibson, they eventually married and had one child, Amira Gibson. Last month they celebrated 23 years together. 

Achievements/Hobbies/Beliefs

Angela loved the Lord with all her heart. If she wasn’t at the shop doing hair, she was evangelizing and bringing people closer to know her Lord and Savior. She radically expressed the love Jesus had for all people and was “waiting on Jesus’ return”. 

Though we grieve the passing of our loved one we are thankful for the amount of lives Angela touched throughout her life. Her shining smile, positive energy and loving memories will be held in our hearts forever. Thank you.
