Anne M. Keder

Anne Mills Keder passed from this earth suddenly on March 17, 2025 .She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony A. Keder, and their two sons David and Joseph, as well as by her grandson Isaac. She is also survived by her sister Ellen, brother David, their spouses and other family members.

Anne worked for 37 years at the Prince Georges County Courthouse as a court reporter. She provided the official court record for a wide array of cases, from murders to divorce to real estate disputes. She retired in 2017 and proceeded to enjoy retirement.

Anne absolutely loved to sing. She was a member of her Church choir, at Sacred Heart Parish. She also sang with 2 senior citizen groups , known as Encore Creativity for Older Adults. She sang with that group at the Kennedy Center and last summer at Graceland, TN.

Anne’s Catholic faith was important to her. In addition to frequent Mass, she attended seminars, retreats, Scripture classes and book club.

Anne loved family and friends. She was very happy going on vacation trips with her family, and on road trips and day trips with family and friends. In her lifetime she visited nearly all 50 states, the Caribbean, England, Scotland and the Holy Land.

Most of all, Anne was kind and empathetic. She was loved by all who knew her. If loved ones were at odds with each other, she would take steps to get them to reconcile. She was totally devoted to her family and to living a good life. Anne was a woman with a Golden Heart.

For friends and family, there will be a viewing at the Beall Funeral home at 6512 NW. Crain Hwy. (RT. 3 South) Bowie, MD 20715, on Monday, March 24, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25, at 12:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 16501 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, Maryland 20715. The mass will be followed by burial services on the premises. Following that, there will be a repast at the Knights of Columbus Boswell Hall,6111 Columbian Way, Bowie Maryland 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
