Anne Elizabeth Natoli, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025, surrounded by her family, in Davidsonville, Maryland. She was 81 years old. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph, her son Anthony, and her brother Charles.
Born on July 28, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to William and Elizabeth Mason, she grew up alongside her siblings Charles, Frank, and Margaret Mason, and was a loving aunt to 18 nieces and nephews.
She spent her early years in Pocomoke City, MD before the family settled in Silver Spring, MD, where Anne attended Montgomery Blair High School.
In 1965, Anne married the love of her life, Joseph Natoli. Together they built a beautiful life in Vienna, Virginia. They raised their sons Joseph (Julie), David (Amy), Anthony (deceased), and Michael (Karen). Anne's devotion to her family was unwavering.
Anne cherished Sundays when she could bring her entire family together, especially her grandchildren Joseph, Teresa, Michelle, and Jacqueline Natoli. These gatherings were filled with laughter and love, forming lasting memories for all who gathered at her table.
She had a remarkable career as a business owner and entrepreneur, successfully owning and operating several restaurants, including The Big Dipper in Ocean City, Maryland, and Pizzeria Uno in Georgetown.
After retiring in 2012, Anne moved to Lewes, Delaware to enjoy life near the ocean. In her later years, she relocated to the Annapolis area to be closer to family and enjoy life near the water.
Anne will be remembered for her generosity, deep love for her family, and the nurturing spirit she embodied. She found joy in playing cards with loved ones, traveling to new places, and enjoying the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Her warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.
May Anne’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her and inspire others to live with the same grace and generosity she shared throughout her life.
