Anthony Jahlil Woodard (AJ), aged 25, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He was born on June 16, 1999, at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, North Carolina, to Anthony Woodard and Jameka Renee Manning. He graduated from Largo High School in 2018. At a young age, he found his love for music, spending a lot of his time making beats. He drew inspiration and ideas from his family, with his father rapping, his brother and sister in a band, and his stepfather (Roma Moore) also rapping. He also had a passion for video games where you can hear him late at night, and even in the early mornings playing online with his friends. After high school, he began to travel outside the United States, experiencing different cultures in Jamaica and Mexico. He traveled across the United States to places like Hawaii, California, and New York. Known for saying whatever came to his mind no matter how crazy it sounded, AJ loved being involved in any occasion and chasing his dreams no matter how unreachable they seemed. His ability to positively impact everyone he met was one of his greatest characteristics. He is survived by his mother Jameka (Roma), his father Anthony, four brothers Rasheed, Amar, Jamar, George, and two sisters Alonah and Tre’sor. He is also survived by his grandparents Janice Speight, George Manning, and Edith Woodard. A niece Khole, and a nephew Tysheed. He has two aunts, a host of cousins, family and friends.
