Mr. Arthur William German, 90, of Baltimore, Maryland died January 18, 2021. Born to Arthur and Martha German, brother of the late Ruth German and uncle to Bob German. He graduated from City College of Baltimore, enlisted and served in the United States Army achieving rank of Sergeant and, upon discharge, had a successful career until retirement with MetLife Insurance Company. Arthur was a beloved husband to his wife of 60 years, Helen Tangires German; devoted father to two sons Jeff German and his wife Tracy; Paul German and his wife Beth; loving grandfather to Jeffrey Jr., Andrew, Alexander, Sophia and Anna.
Arthur was completely dedicated to family. He savored the sweetness of life, never missed a crab feast and danced the jitterbug of a bygone era. His life was full of many adventures and he had endless stories to share about each and every one of them. He had an enthusiasm for history, travel, painting, and football. He was a man of faith and true integrity, of good moral character and quick wit. He was a loved, honored and respected patriarch to the German family. His memory is, and always shall be, eternal in our hearts!
