 Barbara Lee (Woods) Brady, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, age 87 years, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023, under the care of the Hospice of the Chesapeake, Anne Arundel County, MD.  She was surrounded by family and passed peacefully. 

Barbara is predeceased by three sons, Donald Jr., Terry, and Dene.  She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Donald E. Brady, son Michael (Cindy), and daughter Brenda (Tim), her eight grandchildren – Donald III, Laura, Michael Jr., Jackie, Matthew, Danny, Gregory, and Claire.  She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was born and raised in Bowie, MD where she lived for 55 years.  She attended Laurel High School where she loved softball and to dance.  Barbara was a homemaker, bus driver, book keeper, and business partner to her husband, Donald. She and Donald retired to Paw Paw, WV where they enjoyed mountaintop living and where they became very involved and met very good friends at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Paw Paw.

Burial was private at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Mid-Atlantic Community Church, 2485 Davidsonville Road, Gambrills, MD 21054.
