Barbara Marie Cooper

Barbara Marie Nimnum Cooper, age 84 is with our Lord and Savior on Friday, July 19th, 2024, in Crofton, MD. 

She is survived by: her husband, Larry Cooper, four children Donna G. Pegos (David), Lyle, NY, Joni M. Ransom (Russell), Cortland, NY, John C. Cooper (Ileana), Davidsonville, MD, and David E. Cooper (Jamie), Ft Smith, AR.; Her sisters Georgette Bain (John), Charlotte, NC. Susan Nimnum, Rochester, NY. Her brother George A. Nimnum (Cindy), Jr., Williamson, NY.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George A. Nimnum, Sr. and Louise E. Reinault A brother, Theodore A. Nimnum, Sr. She has eleven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces & nephews & cousins. She graduated from Wheaton High School, Wheaton, MD. And did undergraduate work at Baptist Bible Seminary, Johnson City, NY. Barbara & Larry served four churches in Upstate New York, where she is remembered as a loving, caring pastor’s wife, was fond of music as a soloist and ministered in their congregations from the youngest to the oldest. In Maryland she has served as Office Manager and Property Manager. Her family remembers her as a wonderful, thoughtful, loving Mother, homemaker and superior cook.
